Roodepoort Recycling is a recycling company operating “Recycling Buy Back” centres, that specialize in the collection, sorting and processing of waste. We recycle all Ferrous (magnetic metals), Non-Ferrous (non-magnetic metals), Glass, and Paper and Plastic products.
Cumulatively, our management team have been involved in the recycling and waste management industries for more than 90 years. We strive to ensure that we meet the individual needs of all our suppliers and customers.
We currently handle more than 30 000 tons of waste per annum and are recognized as a major player in the recycling industry.
Our company aims at growing our Buy Back Centres nationally in strategic partnership with our suppliers. Our philosophy is to assist with the collection of recyclable waste so as to reduce landfill waste and proceed in the creation of a Zero Waste tomorrow. We are proactive in the preservation of the environment, whilst striving to supply quality recycled waste to our customers.
Our business model is based on buying waste from the hawkers and trolley pushers working the streets and landfills of Johannesburg. This together with our industry and collection from other Buy Back Centres make up our purchase volume.
